The race against time, the unexpected, the last-minute changes. It all vanishes in a second when we see the result of our work for ottod'Ame's SS.

It’s always like this. When we prepare a production and a photoshoot, our teamwork is extremely detailed, precise, and tight. This is mainly to avoid any kind of unexpected event that might occur. Yet, often, there is something that, like it or not, falls outside our predictions. So what? No problem, we are very good at imagining new scenarios, varying those already planned, and constructing new ideas. It is part of who we are, never stopping and always being ready to transform ourselves. In a fluid yet conscious becoming, always.

The clouds, the night before, turned distractedly.

But two clouds certainly weren’t going to worry us or wipe the smiles off our faces when we found ourselves in front of the chosen location. It’s difficult to explain the feeling you get when you look at a place and already imagine it as the ideal backdrop and setting for the collection. It’s a skill that is honed through years of experience and curiosity that is constantly fueled, constantly nurtured, constantly let free. And at almagreal, curiosity is fundamental and one of our hallmarks.

The day arrives, I become sky and sea. Losing myself in the thin line of the horizon and the gallop of a white horse, only to find myself in a desert where the sun carves deep cracks and makes a meadow bloom in millions of shades of pink. We ventured into narrow alleys and let ourselves be surrounded by views so boundless that they took our breath away, following the flight of a flamingo and hiding behind a huge straw hat. And we loved every moment.

Maybe nothing, maybe everything, who knows.

With us is Lunya, the protagonist of the story we wrote for this collection. Because we are always convinced that words are essential, just like questions. And Lunya asks a lot of questions. Not all of them have answers. In fact, sometimes the beauty lies precisely in leaving them unanswered, in not seeking a solution at all costs, in letting everything flow slowly, like the waters of the lagoon in which Lunya is reflected. And she feels at home

Everything we have.

We are very proud of every aspect of this project. But, if we really have to be honest, the catalog is what has remained closest to our hearts. It encapsulates the essence of ottod’Ame, its poetic side, its boundless love for beauty and for the unexpected and unusual, the pleasure of seeking out the unusual and finding joy in everything we do. It is a work that truly reflects the way we work, always.
